Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at DGH Recruitment. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing second-level support for escalated incidents, configuring and maintaining PCs and other IT equipment, and managing inventory records and devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Configuring and maintaining PCs and other IT equipment, including installing and updating software and hardware.
  • Managing inventory records and devices, including tracking and reporting on asset utilization and maintenance.
  • Visiting users and clients to resolve technical issues, providing on-the-spot training or floor walking as needed.
  • Maintaining equipment readiness and ensuring all devices have current security patches installed.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in desk-side troubleshooting and application support for various software, including Microsoft Office, database applications, and network protocols.
  • Exposure or experience with database applications, administrative knowledge of Microsoft back-office products, and networking directory services.
  • Familiarity with WebEx and AV support, including Cisco AV Systems, is preferred.
