Job Title: Duty Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Duty Operations Manager to join our team in Kaiapoi. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our store, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and promoting a safe working environment.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.

Salary Estimate: $60,000 - $70,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock control, and maintenance of store fixtures and equipment
  • Develop and implement operational processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and promote a positive store image

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in a leadership or management role in retail or a related industry
  • Diploma or degree in business, commerce, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
