Cancer Care Operations Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital as a Cancer Care Line Coordinator. This role is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure seamless operations within the Cancer Care department.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing patient appointments, triaging calls, and maintaining accurate records. Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure will be essential in this role.

To succeed in this position, you must have a good understanding of NHS targets, experience working in healthcare settings, and proficiency in using Microsoft Office. You should also possess strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and be able to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive patient information.

In addition to your administrative duties, you will have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge through training and career progression. Our hospital provides specialist services for Kent and Medway, serving a local population of around 700,000.

The ideal candidate will have excellent keyboard/PC skills, experience working in customer service or reception, and the ability to adapt to changing demands. You will also need to be flexible and able to travel between sites if required.
