NHS Cancer Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Cancer Care Line Coordinator at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Cancer Care department.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through comprehensive training and career progression. Our hospital provides specialist services for Kent and Medway, serving a local population of around 700,000.
The ideal candidate will have excellent keyboard/PC skills, experience working in healthcare settings, and proficiency in using Microsoft Office. You should also possess strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and be able to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive patient information.
To succeed in this position, you must have a good understanding of NHS targets, experience working in customer service or reception, and the ability to adapt to changing demands. You will also need to be flexible and able to travel between sites if required.
