Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field-Based Neighbourhood Services Coordinator to join our Neighbourhood Services team in the Rossendale area. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work closely with residents, local partners, and multi-agency teams to deliver high-quality tenancy management services.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £29,582 per annum, rising to £34,437 on the annual pay scale, as well as a range of benefits including:

Job Description

This role will involve providing advice and assistance to residents on all housing matters, including information on legal rights, responsibilities, and welfare concerns. You will also be responsible for showing customers around empty properties, carrying out lettings in accordance with our policies and procedures, and being the point of contact for housing management services on your patch.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Experience and knowledge of housing/lettings or ideally social housing
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with the public, both in person and over the phone, and handling sensitive situations
  • Excellent face-to-face customer service skills and ability to handle confidential information
  • Self-motivation and a solution-focused approach to working with customers and stakeholders
  • Personal resilience to manage a fast-paced and demanding role
