About the Role

This field-based position requires balancing time between working in the community and from home, focusing on delivering high-quality tenancy management services and excellent customer care. You will be a visible and accessible presence in neighbourhoods, engaging customers and local partners to build resilience and improve lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drawing on your strong background in general needs housing management, you will help maintain and improve quality of life in communities by providing advice and assistance to residents on all housing matters.
  • You will showcase properties to potential tenants and carry out lettings according to company policies and procedures.
  • As the point of contact for housing management services on a patch, you will enforce the Association's conditions of tenancy and work with a team to deliver excellent customer service and meet performance objectives.
  • Your role involves a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday, with occasional evening or weekend work depending on business needs.

We are seeking an individual with:

  • A full UK driver's licence and access to a car due to the field-based nature of the role.
  • Experience and knowledge of housing/lettings or ideally social housing.
  • Proven experience dealing with the public, skilled in managing sensitive situations where individuals may be distressed or reluctant to accept advice.
  • An annual pay scale increase within the banding (£29,582 - £34,437).
  • 27 days holiday (rising to 32 over 5 years' service) + bank holidays.
