Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a strong reputation in the industry, is pleased to offer an exciting Locum opportunity for an experienced Administrative Operations Coordinator to join a well-established Children's service based in Southwark.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Effective and efficient administrative support to ensure seamless operations.
  • Liaise with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and corporate standards.
  • Provide comprehensive administration support to various teams within the ART Service, Contact and Support Service, Children's Homes, and Finance Team.
  • Manage business processes to maintain accurate, up-to-date, and reliable data, including data cleansing when required.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders across Children's and Adults departments, as well as external agencies and the community, to foster partnerships and joint initiatives.
  • Contribute to cross-departmental activities, including flexible, outcome-based projects that deliver high-quality results.
  • Support the organisation of provider forums, where social care agencies meet with the ART Service and other social work teams.
  • Track and reconcile miscellaneous expenditure via credit cards and prepay cards, providing monthly reconciliations.
  • Ensure adherence to financial procedures and provide guidance and training as needed.
  • Assist the Contact and Support Service with administrative tasks, including invoice collation, tracking, and coding.
  • Support the two Children's Homes by providing administrative functions as required.
  • Maximise the use of the Council's IT systems to enhance efficiency and resource utilisation.
  • Develop and implement new technologies, leading on their introduction and training within the business.

Requirements of the Administrative Operations Coordinator:

  • Working knowledge of project management principles.
  • Relevant Business/Administrative qualifications equivalent to NVQ level 3/4 or qualified by experience.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Familiarity with a range of IT tools and systems, including data collection, analysis, and presentation.
  • Knowledge of roles and responsibilities within key children's agencies.
  • Experience working in administration and office environments to deliver positive outcomes.
  • Experience in researching and suggesting innovative approaches to business support.

Compensation:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly rate of £42.00 (assignment rate) reflecting the value of their skills and expertise.
