We are seeking an experienced and visionary Clinical Director to lead our clinical teams in delivering high-quality care and governance across Wales.

Job Summary

The Clinical Director will be responsible for ensuring that our clinical services meet the highest standards, aligning with global best practices and regulations. This includes overseeing the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, as well as providing strategic leadership on clinical quality improvement and risk management.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Clinical Leadership: Provide thought leadership on clinical services, ensuring alignment with global standards and best practices.
  2. Policy Development: Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements.
  3. Quality Improvement: Lead clinical quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them.
  4. Risk Management: Oversee risk management processes, ensuring effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical partners, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in pre-hospital care and event medicine.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate clinical teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Degree in a relevant field, such as nursing or medicine.
  • Postgraduate qualification in a related field, such as Master's in Public Health or Healthcare Management.
