About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Hardware Support Specialist to join our team at YourParkingSpace. As a key member of our hardware control room, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our parking infrastructure across the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our hardware estate, including ANPR cameras, payment kiosks, and barriers, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand client expectations and key performance indicators, and work closely with installation and maintenance teams to deploy signage packs, kiosks, and cameras.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and report technical faults, and develop solutions to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Provide first-line support for hardware-related queries and day-to-day problems, and work closely with other departments to resolve complex issues.
  • React promptly to hardware faults and ensure minimal disruption to our services.
Requirements
  • Experience in computing is essential, with a strong understanding of technical hardware and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, balancing client deliverables and internal obligations.
  • Basic analytical skills, IT skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and remain motivated, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Own vehicle required for occasional travel.
