About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health services to children and young people in our community.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health, with experience of working in a CAMH setting. You will be able to demonstrate effective leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of professionals to deliver excellent care.

You will be responsible for managing a team of staff, including nurses, therapists, and support workers. You will also be involved in the development of new services and the implementation of existing ones.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving mental health services for children and young people. You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based practice and a willingness to work collaboratively with other agencies to achieve the best outcomes for our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the CAMH service, ensuring that high-quality care is delivered to children and young people.
  • Manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to deliver excellent care.
  • Develop and implement new services, working closely with other agencies to ensure that they meet the needs of our service users.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our services, making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Registered Professional Qualification (e.g. RMN, OT, Social Worker, Psychologist)
  • Significant experience of working in a CAMH setting
  • Effective leadership and management skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team of professionals
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice
