About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Community Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health needs in the community setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidenced-based nursing care for patients with mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide education, development, and supervision to other staff members as needed.
  • Participate in audit and quality improvement activities to promote excellence in nursing care.
  • Monitor and report any areas of concern to the Nurse in Charge.

Requirements

  • Qualification as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
  • Experience of caseload working and working with older adult mental health.
  • Knowledge of Mental Health Measure (2010) and other relevant legislation.
