Academics Ltd is seeking an exceptional teacher to join our Design Technology department as a Resistant Materials Expert Leader. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of success in teaching Design Technology, expertise in Resistant Materials, and the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to take on a leadership role within our department and contribute to shaping the future of Design Technology at our school. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Resistant Materials, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work effectively with colleagues to drive innovation and progress across the curriculum.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on the development and delivery of Resistant Materials at KS3 and KS4.
  • Support the Head of Department in driving innovation and progress across the Design Technology curriculum.
  • Inspire and mentor other teachers within the team, contributing to their professional development.
  • Play an active role in whole-school initiatives and the wider Design Technology community.
