Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Health Advisor to join our in-house team at a leading utilities company.

This full-time role involves covering the South of England, with regular overnight stays and the use of a company van and fuel card.

As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will lead a team of OH Technicians, develop and implement health surveillance programs, and provide expert advice on health and wellbeing matters.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement health surveillance strategies.
  • Offer guidance on workplace health concerns.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders on policy development.
  • Oversee OH Technician workload and supervise their work.
  • Work closely with HR to ensure OH services meet business needs.
  • Potential casework involvement in the future.

Essential Requirements:

  • NMC Part 3 registration.
  • SCPHN(OH) certification.
  • HAVS Tier 3 qualification.
  • Proven case management skills.
  • Health surveillance expertise.
  • Leadership and supervision abilities.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Familiarity with occupational health software is desirable.

Annual Salary: £53,000 - £64,000.
