Student Wellbeing Coordinator

We are seeking a Student Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Positive Futures Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be working in a specialist school in Smallfield, Surrey, supporting students aged 6-11 years old with Autism and associated behavioural and communication difficulties.
About the RoleAs a Student Wellbeing Coordinator, your role will be to support the emotional and social wellbeing of our students, ensuring they feel safe and supported in their learning environment.
- To establish a warm and supportive relationship with pupils to promote their emotional wellbeing.
- To work closely with the Class Teacher to develop and implement strategies to promote student wellbeing.
- To maintain accurate records of student wellbeing and progress.
- To contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
- GCSE Maths and English qualification minimum Level 3 / Grade C or equivalent is essential.
- Experience of working in a special school environment is highly desirable.
