Boeing Commercial Aviation Services Europe Limited (BCASEL) is an esteemed Maintenance Repair Organisation with EASA and UK CAA approvals, serving 737 NG/Max, 777, and 787 aircraft. We are currently seeking a skilled Production Planning Engineer to join our team.
About the Role
The Production Planning Engineer will be the primary point of contact for Production Planning queries, represent the department at internal and external meetings, and collaborate closely with the Boeing Part 145 Technical Services Team to ensure deliverable plans are executed effectively.
This role will play a pivotal part in developing and implementing new procedures as well as project work in support of our continuous improvement, working closely with the Lead Production Planning Engineer and Planning Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust production plans for maintenance inputs, incorporating technical data and ensuring all necessary materials are readily available.
- Conduct thorough reviews of work packages to guarantee all consumables, expendables, and tooling have been identified and procured.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for Production Planning at all times.
- Generate accurate Man Hour and Hangar Bay plans for review by Management and QA.
- Represent Production Planning during internal and external audits.
- Take ownership of department objectives and goals.
- Collaborate with the Lead Production Planning Engineer to foster cross-team dynamics and ensure processes and procedures are monitored and updated.
- Maintain compliance through regular sampling.
- Participate in or host pre-input meetings as required.
- Continuously monitor processes to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Verify that no revision changes have occurred to approved data prior to input commencement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance planning environment.
- The ability to work independently while being a team player who exceeds customer expectations.
- Prior experience with the AMOS system.
- Familiarity with accessing online Boeing documents via myboeingfleet.com.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
Aircraft Engineering Degree preferred. Previous experience on widebody and/or ETOPS aircraft is advantageous.
Work Authorisation and Relocation
This position requires local hire in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll. This position does not offer relocation; candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous holiday allowance.
