Window Sales Executive

At Mitchell Maguire, we are seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our efforts in the East Midlands and East Anglia regions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to expand their skills and contribute to the growth of our company.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in window and door hardware field sales within the construction industry. They will inherit an established customer base with a target revenue of £2.5m-£3m and be responsible for managing the distribution network efficiently.
- Sell high-end manufactured multi-point locking systems to window and door fabricators.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Recruit new commercial accounts, each contributing a minimum of £50,000 at an acceptable margin.
- Secure specifications with architects, local authorities, M&E contractors, and main contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you must have:
- Window and door hardware field sales experience from within the construction industry.
- Able to hit the ground running.
- Doors/doorsets or door hardware field sales experience.
- Fire door specification field sales experience with architects and architectural ironmongers (advantageous).
- GAI or FRID qualification (advantageous).
- Familiarity with technical regulations and legislation around internal timber fire door locking systems.
- A consultative approach.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Autonomous nature.
- Self-motivation, communication skills, and relationship building abilities.
We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000-£50,000 per annum, plus a £5,000-£10,000 bonus. You will also enjoy a fully expensed car and benefits package.
