Sales Development Manager

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join its team in the East Midlands and East Anglia region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for selling high-end manufactured range of multi-point locking systems for windows and doors, managing relationships with window and door fabricators, and recruiting new commercial accounts.
The role offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and the opportunity to work for a leading Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy.
ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of this role include:
- Selling high-end manufactured range of multi-point locking systems for windows and doors
- Managing relationships with window and door fabricators of composite, aluminium, PVC, composite fire doors, and timber fire doors
- Recruiting new commercial accounts contributing a minimum of £50,000 at an acceptable margin
- Winning specifications with architects, local authorities, M&E contractors, and main contractors
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- At least 3 years' experience in window and door hardware field sales
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting new commercial accounts
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a diary efficiently
