Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Pharmacisit to join our team as a Clinical Trials and Research Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing clinical trials, academic and non-academic research projects in our trust.

The role involves working closely with the Advanced Specialist Pharmacist High Cost Drugs Homecare and Clinical Trials Pharmacist to support the development and running of clinical trials. You will provide professional input and knowledge in the management of clinical trial services across our trust.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage clinical trials, academic and non-academic research projects in our trust
  • Work closely with the Advanced Specialist Pharmacist High Cost Drugs Homecare and Clinical Trials Pharmacist to support the development and running of clinical trials
  • Provide professional input and knowledge in the management of clinical trial services across our trust
  • Ensure all trials are conducted in accordance with the highest possible standards, and in compliance with the principles of GCP (Good Clinical Practice), Good Dispensing Practice and Good Manufacturing Practice

Requirements

  • Substantial experience post registration
  • Experience of working in a hospital pharmacy
  • Registered UK Pharmacist (GPhC)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent postgraduate certificate and/or non-medical prescribing

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme, annual leave entitlement, and access to training and development opportunities.
