**Job Title:** Arboriculture Team Lead

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Arboriculture Team Lead to join our team at Tom Boswell Tree Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of tree surgeons and ground staff to deliver high-quality tree surgery operations safely and to a high standard.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead a team of tree surgeons and ground staff to complete daily tree surgery operations safely and to a high standard.
  • Undertake health and safety work programmes, as agreed with the Operations Manager / Company Director and in line with industry best practice.
  • Manage company resources effectively, contributing to the financial efficiencies of the company.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development and maintain any industry-relevant qualifications.
  • Ensure all information relating to the company and its clients is managed confidentially and in line with relevant information governance legal requirements.

**Requirements:**

  • GCSEs in English, Maths and other subjects.
  • Up to date knowledge of latest industry best practice in arboriculture.
  • Computer skills (e.g. email, document management etc).
  • Experience of maintenance of tree surgery related equipment (e.g. vehicles, chippers, saws, ladders etc).
  • Highly self-motivated and committed to continuous development for themselves and others.
  • Resilient and flexible to implementing new ideas and changes.
  • Current driving licence.
  • Relevant NPTC units – chainsaw maintenance, tree felling, climb a tree and perform aerial rescue, use a chainsaw from a rope and harness.
