Job Title: Principal Landscape Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Landscape Architect to join our team at Lead Careers. As a key member of our Landscape and Urban Design Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale projects, working closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage large-scale landscape architecture projects, including public realm and master planning.
  2. Develop and implement project strategies, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  3. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.
  4. Manage and develop the skills of the team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  5. Contribute to business development, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with clients and partners.
Requirements:
  1. Degree-level qualification in Landscape Architecture.
  2. Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
  3. Extensive experience in landscape design, including public realm and master planning.
  4. Sound knowledge and experience of landscape planning, particularly leading on landscape/townscape and visual impact assessments.
  5. Desirable experience in direct involvement with linear infrastructure projects, notably in highways, rail, and energy sectors.
  6. Project management/leadership experience, including preparation of bids, management of project finance, and client relationships.
  7. Efficiently managed your own workload and that of your allocated project and regional teams.
  8. Proven track record of successful project delivery, both technically and commercially.
  9. Experience in line management and/or mentoring, aligned to supporting colleague development.
  10. Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
  11. Right to work in the UK and full driving license.
