Senior Ecologist – To Lead, Innovate, and Nurture Talent

TMA Environmental consultants is seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to lead, innovate, and nurture talent in our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field, with significant experience in ecological consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a variety of ecological projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
  • Conduct and oversee ecological surveys, including habitat assessments and protected species surveys, while ensuring compliance with UK legislation and best practices
  • Prepare technical reports and advise clients on mitigation strategies and biodiversity enhancements

Requirements

  • Experience in leading ecological surveys and protected species assessments and strong knowledge of relevant UK legislation
  • Proven experience in project management, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Proficient in preparing high-quality technical reports and impact assessments
