Senior Ecologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ecologist to lead our team of dedicated ecologists in delivering ecological projects and surveys across various initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex ecological projects, providing expert advice, and overseeing the successful delivery of surveys and mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of ecologists in managing ecological projects and surveys
  • Provide expert advice on ecological matters and project management
  • Oversee the delivery of surveys and mitigation strategies
  • Develop and implement conservation and development goals

Requirements:

  • Degree in Ecology or a related field
  • Extensive experience conducting habitat and protected species surveys
  • Proven leadership and project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of UK and European ecological legislation
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Hold one or more Protected Species Licences
  • Proficiency with QGIS and other ecological software
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Membership of CIEEM
