About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Tree Officer to join our team and make a significant impact on Dorset's character and future. As a key member of our Arboriculture Team, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of professionals in delivering exceptional services to our stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in development management, with a strong focus on people management skills. You will be expected to use organisational skills and knowledge of policies and processes to drive excellence, while prioritising the protection and preservation of Dorset's trees and woodlands.

As a senior leader, you will play a crucial role in promoting suitable development within Dorset, while ensuring that our natural environment is protected and enhanced.

Key Responsibilities:
