Aerospace HR Manager Position

The Aerospace Group is seeking a talented HR Manager to lead our Human Resources team and support our Aerospace business.

This role requires a strong understanding of human resources functions, including time and attendance, leave, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, recruitment, training and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leverage expertise in organizational effectiveness and change initiatives to optimize the organization.
  • Oversee Employee Benefits program, including pension administration through third-party administrator.
  • Lead site recruitment efforts, including supporting the onsite Apprenticeship program.
  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Site Leader and cross-functional leadership team to drive business results.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote employee well-being and organizational success.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance on performance management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Evaluate and improve training programs to ensure associates have the skills and resources needed to achieve their objectives.
  • Lead, develop, engage, and maximize performance of a high-performing team.
  • Analyze HR-related metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of government employment laws and regulations.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with proven negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and data analysis.
  • Understanding of business management principles.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively across the site and larger corporate enterprise.
Education and Experience:
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Progression in a HR generalist role, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.

Annual Salary: $100,000 - $140,000. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
