Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Support Manager to join our team at Chapelmede in Horley. As an Adult Service Lead, you will work closely with the Service Manager to inspire and motivate the team to deliver high-quality support services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience of supporting adults with disabilities and complex needs. They will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a practical knowledge of policies and procedures and ensuring appropriate usage;
  • Working with the Service Manager to reinforce a culture of continuous improvement;
  • Motivating and inspiring the team to provide outstanding support through effective training, coaching, and leadership by example;
  • Attending appointments with the people we support, attending care reviews, reviewing and updating care plans and risk assessments, recording and monitoring daily logs, leading shifts, and administering medication;
  • Providing day-to-day support for the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Have experience of supporting people with disabilities and complex needs;
  • To be able to support people with their personal care;
  • Be flexible to work across the different shift patterns on a 7-day rota;
  • To be able to be part of an on-call rota.
