Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Care Manager to join our team in Horley, supporting individuals with complex needs.

This is a part-time position, requiring a 24-hour contract per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing budgets, financial information, and ensuring effective resource allocation.

In this role, you will work closely with the Service Manager to lead and manage a successful team, promoting positive risk-taking and maintaining accurate records.

As a key member of our team, you will stay up-to-date with sector-relevant legislation, regulatory bodies, and their standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • $30,000 - $40,000 per annum (pro rata)
  • Experience in a similar role within social care, such as management or leadership roles.
  • Supporting people who have learning disabilities and/or other health needs, including those with complex needs.
  • Managing budgets and financial information to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Staying up-to-date with sector-relevant legislation, regulatory bodies, and their standards.
  • Working with the Service Manager to lead and manage a successful team.
  • Maintaining accurate records and staying informed about policies and procedures.
  • Recruiting new employees and developing staff teams in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and reinforcing a positive culture.
  • Acting as the Service Manager in their absence and participating in management cover rota.
