About the Role

Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Community Recovery Worker to join their team in Copeland, Cumbria. As a key member of the 24/7 Community Mental Health Support Hub, you will work closely with individuals, families, and carers to support their mental health recovery and well-being.

The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting others and will be able to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and practical guidance to individuals experiencing mental health issues.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver holistic care and support.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, families, and carers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of Peer Support Specialist Training or other similar peer support training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £25,714 - £33,653 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a range of benefits including access to comprehensive training and development opportunities, a generous pension scheme, and a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Estimated salary: £28,330-£31,100.
