Lead a High-Performing Team at Our National Operations Centre

We're seeking a skilled Team Leader to join our National Operations Centre in Northampton. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our control room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Efficiency: Assist the Control Shift Manager in ensuring all control room tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Motivate & Lead the Team: Foster a positive and supportive environment where team morale remains high. Engage with your team regularly, providing clear, concise, and professional communication to keep everyone aligned and motivated.
  • Proactive Task Management: Anticipate upcoming vacant shifts and ensure they are promptly assigned to the appropriate control room staff. Delegate tasks effectively to maintain smooth operations and ensure that all team members are focused and productive.
  • Communicate & Collaborate: Maintain open and engaging lines of communication with the team, Control Shift Manager, and other senior managers. Take detailed notes during meetings and briefings, ensuring that all action points are communicated and followed up on effectively.
  • Adapt & Prioritise: In a fast-paced environment, flexibility is key. Adapt quickly to changes in the operational landscape, reprioritizing tasks and ensuring that your team remains on track to meet business demands.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role, ideally within a fast-paced, operational environment.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Clear, concise, and professional communication is essential in this role.
  • Attention to Detail: High standards of accuracy and quality are essential in this role.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and be ready to shift priorities as the situation demands.
  • Team Player: Collaboration is essential in this role. Work closely with your colleagues to ensure that everyone is working towards the same goal.
