Internal Reflection Room Assistant

Northampton, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom United Learning Full time

The Internal Reflection Room and Re-Focus Centre Assistant is an important role within our academy, working closely with the Internal Reflection Supervisor to manage the day-to-day function of the Internal Reflection Room. This room is an internal isolation area for students who have disrupted school/learning, and the successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering specific interventions to small groups of students in the Re-Focus Centre.

The academy's Reflection Room is designed as a behaviour management tool, while also supporting students to reflect on their behaviour and prevent further isolation periods in the future. We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team to ensure the highest delivery of service, and the successful candidate will join an exceptional Pastoral team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students, while also being part of a supportive and collaborative team environment. We reserve the right to close the vacancy earlier than the published end date should a suitable candidate apply.

Northampton Academy is committed to equal opportunities and to the protection and safety of all students and adults. We expect all staff and volunteers to share these commitments.

The post will be subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure.

We are committed to supporting the professional development of our staff, and the successful candidate will have access to a range of training and development opportunities.

For more information or a confidential chat about this role, please contact Jules Smith, Vice Principal (Pastoral).

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
