As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for making day-to-day decisions on the maintenance of the Council's housing stock. You will work to demanding performance standards, maintaining close control over budgets and overseeing health and safety. Effective management of complaints and casework is crucial to guarantee high performance of the service.Key Responsibilities:
- Thorough knowledge of building contracts and the Party Wall Act.
- Ability to make awards on behalf of the council or clients.
- Thorough knowledge of repairs practice and planning, including building construction and Building regulations.
- Detailed knowledge of structural engineering and the Housing Construction and Regeneration Act.
- Project Management skills are essential.
- MCIOB or MRICS is ideal but not required.
Rate: Inside IR35 \u00a3350-\u00a3400pd.
