Exciting Opportunity for a Seasoned Building Surveyor

Randstad Construction and Property is currently seeking an experienced Building Surveyor with a successful track record working within the Housing sector to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in making day-to-day decisions on the maintenance of the Council's housing stock, working to demanding performance standards while maintaining close control over budgets and ensuring the health and safety of all stakeholders.

Essential Skills:
  • Thorough knowledge of building contracts
  • A thorough understanding of the Party Wall Act and ability to make awards on behalf of the council or clients
  • Knowledge of repairs practice and planning
  • Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of building construction and Building regulations
  • Detailed knowledge of structural engineering and the Housing Construction and Regeneration Act
  • Project management skills
  • MCIOB or MRICS qualification preferred but not required

Compensation:

£350-£400 per day (Inside IR35)
