About this role

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our Repairs, Maintenance & Planned works team, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance of the Council's housing stock.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You will also have a strong understanding of building contracts, the Party Wall Act, and structural engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining the Council's housing stock through effective maintenance and repair programs
  • Managing budgets and resources to ensure efficient delivery of projects
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Providing expert advice on building construction and Building regulations
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve project goals

What we offer:

£350-£400 per day (Inside IR35)
