About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Building Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our Repairs, Maintenance & Planned works team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of the Council's housing stock, meeting the highest standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building surveying, with a strong background in building contracts, the Party Wall Act, and repairs practice. They will also have a solid understanding of building construction and Building regulations, as well as structural engineering principles.

With a salary of £62,500 per annum, this is a rewarding opportunity to work for a renowned London Local Authority, delivering high-quality services to residents. We encourage applications from experienced Building Surveyors who share our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site visits to assess maintenance and repair needs, developing effective plans to address any issues
* Work closely with other departments to deliver a seamless service to residents
* Manage budgets and prioritize tasks to meet business objectives and resident expectations
