We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacist to join our outstanding Pharmacy team at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a critical member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing pharmaceutical care to both medical and surgical patients, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

In return, we offer a highly competitive salary of £51,457 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development and growth. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including a contributory pension scheme and annual leave entitlement.

Main Duties
  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy services to multiple specialities within an acute hospital setting
  • Participate in consultant ward rounds and involve teaching undergraduates and other members of the multidisciplinary team
