Business Development Manager Position

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Executive to join our team at VANRATH. As a partner of a leading company in the solar industry, we have an exciting opportunity for you to grow your career.
This role requires a high level of technical expertise, particularly in generating sales leads for both commercial and domestic customers. Client retention is a critical aspect of our sales process, and you will play a key role in maintaining these relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Generate quotations, provide relevant information and data to potential customers, and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and events.
- Participate in sales and marketing events to promote our business.
- Maintain professional working relationships with commercial and domestic customers.
- Stay updated on developments in the solar/PV field.
Compensation Package: We offer a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, plus an excellent benefits package and commission opportunities.
Requirements:
- Engineering or electrical background, preferably in solar/PV.
- Field-based sales experience is desirable, but candidates with a technical background will be considered.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to network and build strong relationships with senior staff.
- Full clean driving license.
