Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Trainer to join our team at the LTE Group. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to engineering apprentices, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Assessment: Deliver training and assessment to engineering apprentices in both classroom and workshop environments, using a range of teaching methods to engage and motivate learners.
  • Learner Support: Provide individualized support to learners, identifying and addressing any barriers to learning and developing personalized learning plans to meet their needs.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all training and assessment activities are delivered to the highest standards, meeting the requirements of the apprenticeship framework and the needs of our learners.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other members of the training team, employers, and learners to ensure that training and assessment activities are aligned with the needs of the business and the learners.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of new training materials and programs, and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure that our training and assessment activities are continually improving.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience: Relevant occupational sector experience and relevant qualifications (at a level 3 or higher than delivery).
  • Functional Skills: Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths, and ICT or equivalent, or willing to undertake.
  • Coaching and Assessment Qualifications: Coaching qualification and TAQA, AVA, A1 or D32/33 Assessor Qualification.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent level of skills in written and oral and presentational areas, understanding the importance of focus on the audience to support learning.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Fully flexible working pattern– responsibility for planning your own diary.
