Multi Skilled Engineering Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Trainer to join our team at the LTE Group. As an Engineering Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and coaching to apprentices in a workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Coaching: Deliver engaging and interactive teaching sessions in the workshop to meet learners' needs.
- Caseload Management: Manage and maintain a caseload of learners, carrying out regular learner interventions and ensuring evidence for learning, achievement, funding, and Ofsted is captured effectively and timely.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor learners' progress, setting targets for Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours, and ensuring learners achieve the highest grade in EPA they are capable of.
- Individualized Learning Programs: Develop individualized learning programs, agreed with employers and learners, based on initial assessments and including Maths and English.
- Employer Engagement: Engage with learners' line managers, making clear their responsibilities and working collaboratively to provide support, guidance, and opportunities for learning.
- End Point Assessment: Plan the end-point assessment process with learners and employers, ensuring preparation and practice is included in the learning plan.
- Learner Support: Inspire and motivate learners, identifying any barriers and adapting to learners' needs, and motivating and driving learners to achieve their qualifications on time.
- Maths and English Delivery: Deliver Maths and English (and ICT where applicable) to support learners' achievement and progress in these areas.
- Marking and Feedback: Ensure marking and feedback to learners is accurate and supports their development.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with IQA's on best practice, development needs, and providing sampling, monitoring as detailed in the IQA plan.
- Employer Relationships: Maintain a positive working relationship with employers, ensuring progression and new leads are generated.
- Reporting: Produce accurate and timely reports as agreed with your line manager based on your KPI's.
- Learning Materials: Contribute to the production of high-quality learning materials.
- Relevant Experience: Relevant occupational sector experience and relevant qualifications (at a level 3 or higher than delivery).
- Functional Skills: Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths, and ICT or equivalent, or willing to undertake.
- Coaching and Teaching Skills: Ability to deliver high-quality, effective coaching that meets learner needs, and deliver engaging and interactive teaching in the workshop to meet learners' needs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent level of skills in written and oral and presentational areas, understanding the importance of focus on the audience to support learning.
- Planning and Organisation: Ability to plan, paying attention to detail and a track record in developing and delivering robust, effective, prioritised plans which achieve KPIs and strategic aims.
- Customer Focus: To be customer-focused, having the ability to present the LTE Group in a positive manner, persuading and influencing where necessary, and seeking continuous improvement – seeking to improve processes and implement and embed changes.
- Coaching Qualification: Coaching qualification.
- Government Funded Training: Knowledge of Government funded training.
- Assessor Qualification: TAQA, AVA, A1 or D32/33 Assessor Qualification.
