Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineering Trainer

Total People is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our apprentices, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their chosen careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver training programs in both classroom and workshop environments, utilizing a range of teaching methods to engage and motivate learners.
  • Develop and maintain a caseload of learners, providing regular interventions and support to ensure they achieve their learning goals.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of learner progress, including 20% OJT requirements and EPA outcomes.
  • Work closely with employers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of learning into the workplace.
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality learning materials and resources.
  • Participate in regular progress reviews and meetings with employers to discuss learner progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Relevant occupational sector experience and qualifications (at a level 3 or higher than delivery).
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths, and ICT or equivalent, or willingness to undertake.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality coaching and teaching that meets learner needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners, employers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks, with a track record of achieving KPIs and strategic aims.
Desirable:
  • Teaching qualification (Cert ed/CTTLS/DTTLS).
  • Coaching qualification.
  • Knowledge of Government-funded training.
