Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Trainer to join our team. As an Engineering Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and coaching to apprentices in a workshop environment.

Your primary focus will be on developing the skills and knowledge of our apprentices, ensuring they meet the required standards for their apprenticeship. You will work closely with other Learning Coaches to ensure a seamless learning experience for our apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality training and coaching to apprentices in a workshop environment.
  • Develop and maintain a caseload of learners, ensuring regular interventions and progress monitoring.
  • Ensure evidence of learning, achievement, and funding is captured effectively and timely.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive teaching sessions that meet learner needs.
  • Proactively drive learner performance and engagement.

Requirements:

  • Relevant occupational sector experience and relevant qualifications (at a level 3 or higher than delivery).
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths, and ICT or equivalent, or willing to undertake.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, effective coaching that meets learner needs.
  • Excellent level of skills in written and oral and presentational areas, understanding the importance of focus on the audience to support learning.
