Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced systems engineer to join our team as a Senior Automotive Systems Engineer. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating vehicle electrical, electronics, and software systems.
About the Role
As a Senior Automotive Systems Engineer, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for automotive manufacturers. Your expertise will help us create cutting-edge technology that enhances the driving experience and improves safety.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: You'll lead project planning and execution in line with OE process flow, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Design Review and Implementation: You'll review and report on design proposals, ensuring they meet customer requirements and company standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: You'll communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including engineering, quality, and management teams.
- Test Planning and Execution: You'll plan and execute test trips for validation (UK & EU) and compile test reports according to customer standards.
- Engineering Signoff: You'll obtain engineering signoff for manufacturing lines and aftersales services.
- Problem Analysis and Issue Resolution: You'll analyze and resolve problems and issues from management and engineering drives.
- Software and Hardware Version Management: You'll manage software and hardware versions, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: An Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle electrical/electronic systems and/or features is essential.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.
- Certifications: Hold a full UK driving license.
Salary Range
£65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
