Commercial Sales Manager - Exhibitions

We are seeking a highly talented commercial sales manager to join our rapidly growing sales team, selling across an industry leading catering exhibition portfolio.

This role involves leading media events business seeks a highly talented commercial manager to join their rapidly growing sales team selling across an industry leading catering exhibition portfolio.

The successful candidate will be tasked with selling exhibition and sponsorship opportunities to leading brands, specifically focusing on areas around professional kitchens into leading hotels and restaurants.

The role requires a commercial leader for the division, exceeding revenue targets across all revenue lines through exhibition sales and sponsorship sales.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years + in exhibition / sponsorship sales, or a similar sales background in media, with an interest in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, and a passion for selling.

The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage own time effectively, and have high emotional levels of intelligence and be skilled in the art of relationship building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be a commercial leader for the division; exceeding revenue targets across all revenue lines through exhibition sales and sponsorship sales.
  • Develop sales strategies by forecasting future trends and analysis of market conditions.
  • Securing business through multi-channel approach, including; calls, social media, email, face-to-face, attending events and networking events.
  • Identify, qualify and deliver new business through gap analysis of current customers.
  • Utilising upselling techniques to provide additional solutions to existing clients, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of their business.
  • Ensure that monthly sales KPI's are achieved.
