We are seeking skilled and experienced foster carers to join our Specialist Foster Carer scheme, which aims to provide a family environment for young people with complex needs.

Key Benefits

  • Professional fee of £52,000 per annum

Requirements

  • Successful completion of foster carer assessment and approval
  • Availability on a full-time basis
  • Room to support a child or adolescent in your home
  • Ability to offer a home to a solo child
  • Willingness to provide a durable relationship and stability
  • Ability to relate to young people with complex backgrounds
  • Commitment to providing life-enhancing opportunities and life skills
  • Residence in the Cheshire West and Chester area or close by
  • Ability to demonstrate a caring attitude that is child-centred and relational
  • Ability to offer unconditional positive regard and encouragement
  • Support for young people not engaging in education, training, or employment
  • Car driver with a suitable vehicle
  • Successful DBS check
  • Completion of mandatory training requirements
  • Support for children and young people with family contact
