**Role Overview**:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students with ASD, learning difficulties and SEND across Key Stages 1 to 4, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs. You will work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with ASD and SEND, both in the classroom and in specialized support settings.
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons and adapting learning materials to suit the needs of individual students.
- Support students in developing their social skills, communication abilities, and independence.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions to support positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student support and progress monitoring.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with students with ASD and SEND is preferred but not essential.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs (SEN) are desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to undergo necessary background checks and safeguarding training.

**Salary**: £96.00-£100.00 per day

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
