Foster Care Specialist

At Entrust Social Care Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Foster Care Specialist to join our team. As a Qualified Social Worker with minimum 2 years UK experience in Children's Social Work, you will be responsible for providing support, supervision, and assessment to foster carers and children in care.
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as weekly payroll and online training portal.
The ideal candidate will have a DipSW or equivalent qualification, HCPC registration, current DBS, and a valid car driver's license. If you are passionate about working with vulnerable children and families, please apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and supervision to foster carers.
- Work with social work teams to match children to families.
- Assess and develop foster carers.
- Prepare reports for legal proceedings, LADO consultations, and children's reviews.
- Carry out annual reviews of Foster families.
- Recruit and assess foster carers.
- Assess resources to support foster care.
- Ensure children's safety and follow procedures for allegations.
