We are seeking a part-time locum social worker to join our team, providing support and supervision to foster carers in the North West of England.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will oversee a small caseload of approximately 5-6 foster carers, ensuring their well-being and safety. Key responsibilities include supporting and supervising foster carers, monitoring children's progress, and collaborating with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and supervise foster carers in the North West of England.
- Monitor the progress of children in care and ensure they receive appropriate support.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children.
- Good Ofsted rating.
- Home working opportunities available.
- Low caseload allows for focused attention on each case.
- Therapeutic fostering agency providing a supportive environment.
- Part-time hours offering flexibility and work-life balance.
- Paid interview process.
A qualified social worker with experience in fostering is required. A Social Work Degree and driving license are essential. Estimated salary: £33,000 per annum, based on a 15-hour working week at £30-£33 per hour.
