This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a part-time locum social worker, providing support and supervision to foster carers in the North West of England.
Job Description:The successful candidate will oversee a small caseload of approximately 5-6 foster carers, ensuring their well-being and safety. This role involves supporting and supervising foster carers, monitoring children's progress, and collaborating with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Requirements:- Qualified social worker with experience in fostering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good Ofsted rating.
- Home working opportunities available.
- Low caseload allows for focused attention on each case.
- Therapeutic fostering agency providing a supportive environment.
- Part-time hours offering flexibility and work-life balance.
£32,000 per annum, based on a 15-hour working week at £29-£32 per hour.
