We are seeking a talented Culinary Care Specialist to join our team at Exemplar Health Care, one of the UK's leading nursing care providers.

As a Culinary Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating delicious and nutritious meals for our residents with complex mental health needs, dementia, neuro-disabilities, and physical disabilities.

Our ideal candidate will have a flair for cooking and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for preparing and serving food, understanding the dietary needs of our residents, and interacting with them to gather feedback on meal options.

We offer a competitive salary of £12 per hour, as well as a range of benefits including excellent supervision, peer support, learning opportunities, and career prospects.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and cooking meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents
  • Understanding the preferences and choices of our residents to develop suitable menu options
  • Interacting with residents to gather feedback on meal options
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety

About You

We are looking for someone who identifies with our values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success, and teamwork. As a Culinary Care Specialist, you will be creative, adaptable, and an excellent team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

We like our team members to have a food hygiene certificate and a relevant catering qualification, but these are not necessary.
