We are partnering with a business based in Poole who are looking for a Management Accountant - Part Time to join their accountancy team.

The company has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months and requires travel to their offices.

As the Management Accountant - Part Time, you will be responsible for:

  • Producing month-end revenue reconciliations in multiple currencies across all revenue streams.
  • Providing meaningful analysis of sales and margins promptly following the end of month.
  • Reviewing and reconciling all company stock in various locations with recommendations for any stock adjustments necessary.
  • Producing month-end reconciliations for all key balance sheet accounts.
  • Producing ad-hoc reporting, required throughout the business.
  • Reviewing and updating the fixed asset register intangible items and posting amortisation.
  • Calculating various accruals and maintaining supporting schedules.
  • Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts for submission to Group.
  • Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns and monthly Intrastat declarations.
  • Working with external auditors to provide information in a timely manner.
  • Preparing financial reports for inclusion within the statutory reports and accounts.
  • Providing cover for other finance functions where necessary.

Requirements:

  • A proven background in management accounts production.
  • ACCA/CIMA studier or similar accounting qualification.
  • Experience of assisting in the production of statutory accounts.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and work with multiple currency accounts.
  • Experience using Sage 300.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 FTE.
