Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to internal stakeholders and Central Finance, highlighting any exceptions and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Assist in the month-end process, ensuring its efficiency and robustness, and provide clear explanations for any variances.
  • Support the generation of operational components for the rolling forecast/budget, reviewing and challenging results to ensure accuracy.
  • Participate in the Year-end Stock count audit, including engineering stocks, and ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations with proper documentation.
  • Attend NPD/Feasibility meetings to explore potential new business opportunities and provide financial insights.
  • Review costing proposals with the Central costing team for proposed (EPD/NPD) products, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure effective and efficient operation of business systems, maintaining high data integrity standards and coordinating with group functions and external parties as necessary.
  • Support the Finance manager in the day-to-day supervision of the Finance Team, providing guidance and expertise when needed.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Proven expertise in risk analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with a strong understanding of all P&L aspects.
  • Excellent numerical proficiency, with the ability to analyze and convey financial information to non-financial individuals, offering recommendations and guidance when needed.
  • Proficient in computer literacy, including Excel & Power Point, with a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A mindset geared towards continuous improvement and a drive to enhance processes continuously, with a focus on achieving results and output quality.
  • Thorough and accurate, with a background in FMCG, accustomed to fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  • Confidence, initiative, and flexibility are key traits, with high integrity and the ability to earn colleagues' trust.
  • Capable of building relationships at all internal and external organizational levels.
