Exciting Career Opportunity: A fantastic position has opened up for a Lead Treasury Analyst to join a reputable Housing Association.

Role Overview: As the Lead Treasury Analyst, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality financial insights and support for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and updates of the organization's financial strategy.
  • Convert all data utilized in the creation of the annual and quarterly financial strategies into the designated financial planning software.
  • Ensure data accuracy by reconciling it with budget and forecasted figures, collaborating with data providers for seamless transitions and ongoing enhancements in data quality.
  • Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis on the business strategy, evaluating a variety of economic conditions and variables.
  • Innovate new approaches for stress testing and design outputs to facilitate risk analysis.
  • Translate the financial strategy into the annual financial forecast return (FFR) submission for the relevant agency.
  • Enhance the integration of data from the financial planning software into the FFR submission and reconcile it with the statutory accounts, providing insights to management on the results.
  • Prepare the business strategy for credit rating assessments and generate necessary analyses for credit submissions.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant treasury or finance qualification, or a degree in a related field.
  • Desirable experience in financial planning, analytical scenario modeling, and stress testing.
  • Proficient in general IT technologies, particularly advanced Microsoft Excel, along with familiarity with Business Information/Analysis Tools and Microsoft Word.
  • A solid understanding of treasury operations.

Work Environment: Primarily remote work with minimal in-office presence required.
